The Black Sox took game 1, 3-1, over the Owlz.
Since 2004 the team that has won game one of the 3 game series has gone on to win 78.3% of the time, according to Pete Chalfin.
The ’04 Ducks lost in the Conference finals to the Sox after taking game 1.
Game 2 will pit pitcher of the year candidate Scott Dunn against potentially J.T. Slavicek or whomever else the Sox have.
The Sox have got to be thin on pitching, mayeb we’ll get an appearance from the greatest pitcher in the history of organized baseball.
The Sox’s lefty pitched well.
neither of these team names can be made into possessive plurals.
the conclusion to this game was not forgone, apparently.

Owlz BSox play thursday at Moore
Don't know about 2nd game for Canes and Warriors since nothing was scheduled for friday, so it might be saturday.

believe it or not the sox struggled much more with Guthrie then they did with Sinclair. We were kinda far away from the action so it was tough to tell if Sinclair had his curveball going well though

I have to say I am very disappointed in the field availability for the playoffs. I know Joe does everything he can to get us fields to play on, but something needs to be done. When the league first started I took matters into my own hands and got Moore Park for the league. I imagined this being the Black Sox "home" field and all of our home games would be played there. It would suck if we do not get to play a "home" playoff game @ our "home" field when it is available for us to play on due to the lack of fields. The only way we can get more fields is if other people set up to the plate and put matters in their own hands!

No the Canes and Warriors are playing there tonight becasue they got cancelled last night. It is still up in the air as to when and where game 2 will be. I will be pissed if we do not get the 9pm Moore Park slot for game 2!

No games friday for sure. Game 2 Sat game 3 Sunday. Chalfin will be 100% by Sat. Still not sure who I will throw in Game 2. JT looked good in a bullpen yesterday. So we will see.
