Black Sox won 12-2 in 5 innings after a hitting barrage in the top of the 5th. The Ruben Carter's looked thin on pitching. Will Rafalski pitch tonight? Word is he went 7 on Sunday. That's not much rest, but then again it is the championship.

Black sox scored 7 in 5th inning i think 2 or 3 earned and 3 errors to go up 12-2.

The Hurricanes blew a couple of chances early in the game also. They had a runner picked off at first. Runners at first and second no outs and a bunt caught by the pitcher and doubled up runner on second.
It seemed that both teams pitchers were frustrated by a small strike zone. No fear for tonight though, the umpires web site says the guy in the field last night should be behind the plate. He calls pitches low and outside regularly. Ted Tragard will be in the field and behind the plate for the possible game three.
I would say the Black sox had no "solid hits" (just joking based on comments about owlz series they had several extra base hits in the gaps.)

That Black Sox player trying to score from 2nd base on a single to LF was a joke. Horrible call by 3rd base coach. The LF had the ball even before the runner tagged 3B.
Hurricanes looked bad too. Holloway bunt fly out into a DP with runners on 1st and 2nd with them down by 5 runs. What the hell was that? Where's the fundamentals?
The Gray Bats could have done better.

It was a bad call on my part, but truth be told, you have to be aggressive, and the left fielder had to make a good throw to get him, that throw was right on the money and usually that throw is only made like 3 out of 10 times. I'd send him again if I had to.
As far as the gray bats doing better, well if they were any better they wouldn't be watching us play right now.
